Lille Sack Manager Herve Renard
Lille have sacked Herve Renard as manager for only 13 Ligue 1 matches in control.
Renard required at Stade Pierre-Mauroy in May, signing a 3-year contract after leading Ivory Coast to glory in the Africa Cup of Nations.
However, the 47-year-old has been relieved of his responsibilities after leading Lille to simply two league wins this year.
Assistant Patrick Collot will take control of Lille until a lasting successor is hired.
A golf club statement read: “After 13 matches of Ligue 1, LOSC advanced towards the 16th within the standings a risky position and definitely less than the club’s goals.
“Absolutely convinced of the talent inside the squad, [chairman] Michel Seydoux rapidly made the decision which will try to review the treating of the playing squad to rebuild an optimistic dynamic and set the work of Lille back on the path to success.

Lille had finished third and eighth in the last two seasons under Rene Girard, who Renard replaced as boss.
