Marc Wilmots Seeking More From Belgium Star Man Kevin De Bruyne
Belgium coach Marc Wilmots states Kevin De Bruyne can “play better” but is relieved the Manchester City man has become performing having a smile on his face.
De Bruyne has unsuccessful to shine at Euro 2016 to date and Wilmots is expecting a lot of 24-year when Belgium meet Hungary within the last 16 in Toulouse on Sunday.
He stated: “We’ve spoken together and i’m awaiting better performances individually from the players.
“We’ve proven a noticable difference to some degree but we are able to play better link-up football. We now have to become more effective because we’re within the knockout phase.
“Kevin De Bruyne continues to be good within the last 20-25 metres but he is able to still improve. I understand he is able to play better.”
De Bruyne were built with a fine first season in the Etihad following his change from Wolfsburg for a small fee around ￡51million, a transfer Wilmots claims had an impact on the player’s happiness.
He added: “Kevin might be a key player [against Hungary]. He was of low quality against Italia, he am-so but he’s attempted to obtain better.
“He’s requested for that ball a great deal [within the games against Republic of eire and Norway]. The ultimate ball is not working right now but Kevin is smiling again.
“He’s a person, he’s feelings. He was transferred for several money and there are plenty of products happening in the existence.
“Now I’ve got a smiling guy again. We must have this sort of guy, one that plays having a smile on his face.”
